Weekly Offering Appeal

Each week, a special offering appeal is designated by the North American

Division of Seventh-day Adventists to help further the work of the gospel.

» Read about the recipient of this coming Sabbath’s special offering.

To give to this cause, fill out a tithe envelope at church and write in the name of the special offering recipient. An offering appeal schedule is also at the welcome desk.

What is Offering?

Because tithe is reserved for a special purpose, freewill offerings provide the funding for many other necessary functions including expenses of the local church. Offerings are a gift above and beyond tithe. The giving percentage is left to the individual, but a personal giving plan (PGP) provided by the worldwide church and used by many suggests 3-5% of income be donated to the local church budget, 2-3% to the world church, and 1-2% to the local conference.

What is Church

Budget?

Your contribution to the church budget is what covers the day-to-day expenses and ministries of Really Living, including some staff salaries, church office expenses, utilities, facility maintenance, constituent fees to GAA, and all local ministry and outreach expenses. We count on your faithful giving to help us meet our obligations and fulfill our vision.

What is Tithe

Tithe is a tenth portion (10%) of your income that God claims as His (Lev. 27:30). In the Seventh-day Adventist Church, contributions designated as tithe are pooled to support the gospel ministry of the world church.

Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.
