Where do we turn when there is such uncertainty in the world? The media may have their own agendas and politicians certainly do, and we have access to all the knowledge of the world through the internet yet there seems to be more emptiness than ever. Is there something solid that has stood the test of time that we can look to for answers? We believe the Bible has answers to life's most pressing questions, especially in these challenging times.
The Bible is the best-preserved ancient document in existence. Discoveries like the Dead Sea Scrolls confirm the accuracy of the text we have today is the same as that thousands of years ago. The historical names, places and events have been verified over and over by archaeology. More than 40 writers over a period of over 1500 years all consistently tell the story of God's plan of redemption for our world. And despite many attempts in history to destroy or suppress the Bible, its teachings have shaped law, ethics, art, literature and human rights across the centuries.
And there is one aspect of the Bible that is of particular interest in today's modern world: prophecy. The Bible contains many predictive prophecies, many of which have happened, others to be fulfilled. You may be surprised how accurate the Bible is throughout history in its predictions and of what is to come, but they all speak of one thing: hope. Hope that there are answers, hope that the troubles of this world can be overcome, hope there is Someone who loves us that is in control.
Be part of a 10-day journey experiencing the transformational power of the Bible through studying its extraordinary prophecies, and find hope, faith, and strength for your life!
