The Kidzone Report: Slime, Kindness Rocks, and Suncatchers

On September 22, 2018 at Kidzone we had 30 children! Having new kids coming for our program brings so much joy.

We had our first Earliteen’s Show & Tell with Angel and Nina showing the kids how to make Oobleck, a type of slime that is soft and hard at the same time.

We also started participating in the “Kindness Rocks Project”, where people from all over the world are painting rocks and writing kind words on them and spreading them around. We hope we can spread kindness rocks all over Hamilton in the next year!

The last activity was a nature suncatcher. Since it was the first day of fall we wanted to keep a piece of nature in our homes before everything is gone.

You won’t want to miss the next Kidzone! We are going to learn about Monarch Butterflies and what will happen to them in the next months of fall. See you next week!
