About

Since January 2014, Serving Hands has been providing a hot and tasty meal to residents of downtown Hamilton once each month. As available, volunteers also provide donated grocery items, pet food, and personal care items. A friendly smile, a word of encouragement, and a listening ear are always on the menu!

Corporate sponsors of this program, who generously share food and resources, include Fortinos (Upper James location), Ippolito, and Goodness Me (Upper Gage location).

August 19th Report

We praise the Lord for blessing you, our church family with the resources employed to extend kindness and love as we served our community last Sabbath afternoon August 19th. It was heartwarming to see new faces as we came together to advance His cause.

Through His grace, our efforts have been impactful. Individuals served are now expressing interest in getting to know us better. One recipient shared,

“I have been thinking about you guys…I am impressed by your smiles and attitude…I want to visit your church”.

Another volunteer shared the joy she felt as a young child displayed sheer excitement about certain contents of the grocery package her family received,

“Mom they have my favourite cereal…the brought bananas!”.

A huge thank you to all. Your continued prayers and support are needed as we bring hope and happiness to people in need.
