About

CAMP ACTIVATE is Really Living’s summer day camp for ages 6–11, which takes place during the month of July.

Our Passion

At CAMP ACTIVATE, we are passionate about your child’s mind and imagination! We want them to be just as active when learning and discovering, as when physically playing.

Please note: The information below pertains to our 2019 camp. Updates for 2020 will be provided when available.

Our Partners

CAMP ACTIVATE partners with three amazing Canadian programs to bring your child tons of fun and lots of ways to activate their body and their mind!

4 Weeks — 4 Camps — 4 Themes

EVERY WEEK: MULTI-SPORT MORNINGS

Don’t know what sport your child will like? No worries, they will play them all!

With our sports program, your child will learn a new sport each. They’ll build a wide set of transferable skills to be able to play each of our eight offered sports with confidence, while having fun!

WEEK ONE: SKY HIGH

Want to become an Astronaut? Before NASA, get your Flight training here!

Our Mad Scientists will prepare your child for rocket space travel, learning all the important things needed before first launch. They’ll travel through time looking at the earliest flying machines right up until modern space shuttles. They will also gain hands-on experience learning about principles of gravity, flight and aero-dynamics, using their new skills to develop flying machines of this own! This week will fly by with all the fun!

WEEK TWO: BORN TO PERFORM

No such thing as no talent! We discover everyone’s natural acting talent and abilities and by the end of the week, stars are born!

Our acting/drama program lead by the wonderful people at Great Big Theatre Company provides an enriching, supportive and cooperative environment for campers to not only build their performance skills but also foster inclusiveness, respect, responsibility, and creativity.

WEEK THREE: LEGO BRIXOLOGY

LEGO… Need we say more?

This week sets the foundations for our next generation of makers! Campers use Lego Technic systems to build things that walk, swing, crawl, spin, and move on their own in any way they want to design it. Your child will learn about different types of engineering and team up to construct using those bricks we all know and love! Imagination knows no limit here at Camp Activate so bring your Lego ideas and let our Mad Scientists help your child create new innovations for our ever-changing world.

WEEK FOUR: EUREKA!

It was said by the great inventor, Thomas Edison, that “inventions are 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration” but this week will be 100% FUN!

Campers will overcome a series of challenges using basic materials, simple machines, and tips from famous inventors of the past. Most importantly, they will use their strongest tool of all—their minds! If your child likes to take things apart and see how they work, or tinker with things around the house to create something new, this camp is for them!
