4 Weeks | 4 Camps | 4 Themes
Week 1: Wild World
Let your creativity run WILD!
Explore the wonders of the animal kingdom and let it inspire you to create works of art. We have partnered with Crayola® Imagine Arts Academy and Little Ray’s Reptiles to take your child on a week’s adventure of discovering different animals as well as finding out how wildlife conservationists are working to protect species around the globe. Experiment with a variety of art techniques, and use Crayola® products to create animal-inspired art masterpieces that you can take home! At the end of the week, we will get really hands-on with REAL, LIVE animals, both big and small, that we will learn about and get a chance to meet. Your child will be roaring about their time at Camp Activate.
Week 2: Crazy Chemistry Lab
WARNING: We are mixing a high quantity of fun with chemistry! Results may include having so much enjoyment, you won’t want the week to end!
Day-campers will learn to manipulate laboratory equipment and chemical solutions as they mix ingredients and make chemical combinations that create… well, you will just have to sign up to find out! But we promise this week will have slippery, slimy, sticky, glow in the dark…STUFF and much more!
Week 3: Lego Brixology
LEGO… Need we say more?
This week sets the foundations for our next generation of makers! Campers use Lego Technic systems to build things that walk, swing, crawl, spin, and move on their own in any way they want to design it. Your child will learn about different types of engineering and team up to construct using those bricks we all know and love! Imagination knows no limit here at Camp Activate so bring your Lego ideas and let our Mad Scientists help your child create new innovations for our ever-changing world.
Week 4: Eureka
It was said by the great inventor, Thomas Edison, that “inventions are 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration” but this week will be 100% FUN!
Campers will overcome a series of challenges using basic materials, simple machines, and tips from famous inventors of the past. Most importantly, they will use their strongest tool of all—their minds! If your child likes to take things apart and see how they work, or tinker with things around the house to create something new, this camp is for them!
Every Week: Multi-Sport Mornings
Don’t know what sport your child will like? No worries, they will play them all!
With our sports program, your child will learn a new sport each day. They’ll build a wide set of transferable skills to be able to play each of our eight offered sports with confidence, while having fun!
