We’d love to have you join us for one, two, three, or all four weeks of Camp Activate this summer!

  • Ages 6-11 are welcome
  • Program runs from 9 am-3 pm daily
  • Choose your focus activity: Soccer, Basketball, or Drama
  • Includes healthy snacks, free t-shirts, and a trip to the water park*

*Water park trip is scheduled for Sunday July 29; cost is covered for children attending all four weeks; a parent or guardian must accompany each child/sibling group. More information will be shared with parents, prior to event.

Where does Camp Activate happen?

Camp Activate will take place on the beautiful grounds of Grandview Adventist Academy, located on Highway 6, just south of Mount Hope. The address is 3975 Hwy 6, Mount Hope.

It’s a short 7 minute drive from the corner of Rymal Road and Upper James in Hamilton, or 7 minutes from the north end of Caledonia.

What does it cost?

WEEK I, July 3–6 (4 days)

$20/child ($15 for each additional sibling registered)

WEEK II, July 9–13 (5 days)

$25/child ($20 for each additional sibling registered)

WEEK III, July 16–20 (5 days)

$25/child ($20 for each additional sibling registered)

WEEK IV, July 23–27 (5 days)

$25/child ($20 for each additional sibling registered)

What does my child need to bring?

Daily snacks are provided, but lunch is not. Please send your child/ren with a NUT-FREE sack lunch each day.

Each participant should bring their own water bottle. A filtered water bottle-filling station is available onsite.

Soccer camp participants: Please bring a soccer ball and shin guards labelled with your name. Soccer cleats are recommended.

Basketball camp participants: Please wear shorts. Please bring a basketball labelled with your name. Basketball shoes are recommended.

Who is hosting this event?

Camp Activate is provided to the community through a partnership of four Hamilton churches: Hamilton Mountain, Hamilton Filipino-Canadian, Hamilton East, and Really Living Seventh-day Adventist churches.

Although this event is sponsored and organized by a partnership of Christian churches, all children, regardless of belief, are welcome to attend. A prayer will be offered at the start and end of each day, as well as before meals. Positive life values, such as teamwork and cooperation, will be encouraged and modelled.

STEP 2: PAYMENT

OPTIONS: Pay in advance online (preferred), or pay in person on first day with cash.

Please calculate your total before paying online.

WEEK I: $20/child/week ($15 for any additional siblings registered)
WEEKS II, III or IV: $25/child/week ($20 for any additional siblings registered)

Please arrive 15 minutes early for registration on your first day.

Bring Your Own Lunch

A daily snack will be provided however participants are required to bring their own sack lunch.
